DEEPER: Neck & Shoulders
Advanced Teacher Training
November 5-10 2017
Downingtown Yoga & Meditation Center, Downingtown PA
Learn to teach new poses, adjustments and variations that make significant changes through your upper spine, which control the condition of your neck and shoulders. You’ll go back to your students with well-supported poses as well as more active poses for opening up this area of the body.
“I got much needed opening in my upper spine and through my neck and shoulders. I look forward to offering new poses and new variations to poses to my students.”
Because the tensions in your upper spine inhibit your deeper experience of consciousness, this course also emphasizes deepening your meditation as this area of your body opens.
Delve into the Shiva Sutras, Kashmiri Shaivism's root text, which describes the individual as Consciousness, why you don't yet know your own Self, and how to get there. You will be studying the sutras as well as learning how to take them home to your students.
This is one of our advanced trainings, moving you toward Advanced Teacher Certification. Many of the practices in this training were previously included in ATT 411: Upper Spinal Release.
