Our morning chant begins at 8:30 am, one full hour of chanting in Sanskrit. The text is "Sri Guru Gita", a profound experience of the ancient practice of svadhyaaya as well as an immersion into the grace-filled power of consciousness. The chant is followed by a sweet 20 minute meditation and journaling.
At 10:00 am we have a tea break, often with homemade cookies. It's time to chat with other meditators, do a little shopping as well as enjoy infomal time with Swami Nirmalananda.
Satsang begins at 10:30 am, with chanting and meditation led by Swami Nirmalananda, as well as her discourse on the principles of spiritual life and practice. Her teachings help you make sense out of your life as well as opening the doorway to deep inner experiences.
If you are new to meditation, she will teach you how, and you benefit from meditating with her and the whole group. Our program ends about 12:15, with an opportunity to connect with the others attending.
