Helping Others

You want to help others. What you need is therapeutic tools. Svaroopa® Yoga’s methodology is spine-centric, meaning that every pose is for your spine. In the womb, your whole body formed from your spine outward, which makes the spine-centric approach deeply effective.

In each of the four Teacher Trainings I took, they told us, ‘Every pose is for the spine.’. They never explained it so I wondered what they meant. I found out from the spontaneous yoga poses I experienced in meditation once I received initiation from my Guru. Then I had answers for myself and my students. I call this laser-beam yoga because we know how to target your spine, which opens up your own healing power. - Swami Nirmalananda

Spine-Centric Approach

Our spine-centric approach is not new. Tantric yogis have been using it for thousands of years. Chiropractors and osteopaths have been using it for over a hundred years, though spinal decompression therapy has been traced back to 3500 BCE.1

The difference with Svaroopa® Yoga is that you don't need a doctor.  You can do it with yoga.  As a yoga therapist, you move your clients through their own healing process as well as empower them to keep it moving.

Having trained 1,000 yoga therapists over 30 years, we have experience in preparing you to use these powerful yogic techniques that empower your clients’ healing processes. Our training is accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists, and draws from our Teacher Training programs approved by Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia.

This puts you on the front edge of the growing recognition of yoga therapy by the medical establishment.  Most importantly, you will know how to use yogic tools to make immense changes for your clients in a short time.

 Support and Release

You don’t push to make the pose happen. In Svaroopa® yoga, you prop and align, then allow the changes to develop.
