I’m feeling deeply called to the profound dimensionality that is so easily available in my Guru’s hometown of Ganeshpuri. Muktananda and Nityananda planted it there. 

I had been planning a personal retreat for my 80^th birthday, marking off tentative dates in my calendar. Then I realized it is also the 50^th anniversary of my teaching. That means you are part of the reason I’m going. You are the reason why I do what I do.  So you are invited! 

November 9 — group flight departs to India (flight recommendation to be available in July 2026). You may make separate air and ground transportation arrangements. If you arrive early, please note that no group activities will be happening. I will be arriving on 11/10, the same date as the group.

November 10 — our group arrives in India. We are picked up at the airport and driven to Ganeshpuri. We are based at Fire Mountain Retreat Center, with their beautiful dome for our classes and practices. Our housing will be at Fire Mountain and other nearby guest houses. 

November 11-19 — daily practices begin at 4:20 am in Nityananda’s temple, followed by breakfast, chanting and a yoga class. A leisurely lunch and recess follows. The afternoon includes a sutra discourse, more chanting and meditation. After dinner, Nityananda’s temple has a special closing ceremony every night.

On the day before my birthday, I will do a special fire ceremony, only for 80-year-olds. Sahasrara Chandra Darshanam honors that I have lived through 1,000 full moons. It expresses gratitude, longevity and spiritual maturity.

On my birth anniversary, I will participate in the morning ceremonies for Nityananda in his temple. I have done this several times before. I am grateful to be able to honor Nityananda in such an intimate and personal way. This ceremony always gives me the feeling I had when sitting with my Baba. What a glorious way to honor my Baba — by honoring his Baba.

November 20 — morning practices, breakfast and lunch complete our retreat activities. The afternoon is for packing and maybe some last minute shopping. Then we go to the airport, for the recommended group flight being the one announced in July. You may make separate air and ground transportation arrangements. 

November 21 – our early morning flight (usually around 1:00 am) means the group arrives back in the USA on the same date.

Early Non-Member Rate: $3,471.00 (paid in full by September 3) 

Standard Rate: $3,821.00 (paid in full September 4 - October 25)

Payment Plan: A non-refundable $750.00 deposit is required to confirm your enrollment. Plus two scheduled payments: $1,535.50 on September 3 and $1,535.50 on October 25 2026

Group Flight: to be announced when available. Your tuition does not include your airfare, but a specific flight will be recommended both for timing as well as cost considerations.
