Shavasana Weekend

October 24 - 26

Lokananda Retreat Center, Downingtown PA

Give yourself a weekend of profound relaxation coupled with bliss-filled inner explorations in Shavasana.

This reclining yoga pose is the one where you use the least number of muscles possible. Of course, you continue breathing and your heart keeps beating, but even these ease open in a whole new way as you progress through the weekend.;

This is yoga nidra, a classical yoga practice where you use your body to clear your mind and heart, then dive deeper. You will do a few easy yoga poses to help dissolve the hidden tensions in your body and mind. Chanting and meditation with Gurudevi is included, for you to experience own Divine Essence. She helps you get there.

A new Guided Awareness is included along with ones we include in our online course. Each Shavasana features different guidance, taking you progressively deeper within. Profound physical changes and illuminative insights await.

Shavasana is listed in the Sanskrit texts as one of the most important of all the yoga poses. – Gurudevi Nirmalananda

After each Shavasana, you share your descriptions in a group discussion. Hear what is happening for everyone else, and learn as your teacher explains the significance of what is blossoming within.

Shavasana is amazingly powerful, yet deceptively easy. Sometimes it’s hard to do nothing, and to let tensions and anxieties simply dissolve. That's why we guide you each step of the way.

We make the openings and clearings easier, a specialty of Svaroopa® Yoga.
