Enlightenment Studies 8:
Stairsteps to Transformation
Begins on Thursday January 28 2021
Begins January 28, meets bi-weekly on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 pm (Eastern Time)
Join the Ashram residents in their study of the yamas and niyamas with Gurudevi and Swami Samvidaananda. Enrollment is available to non-resident Vowed Members, but limited with only 10 spaces available.
Deepen your study and practice of the yamas & niyamas by diving into them again. This is similar to the Vows Prep Course you have already taken. Of course, the lessons you learn are related to your level of understanding, which has grown tremendously. In honor of the power of these lessons, this course is now included in our Enlightenment Studies series.
Yamas and niyamas are specifically about living your yoga, weaving the yogic principles through your mind, and heart and life. This makes your life more yogic but, more importantly, it speeds your progress toward enlightenment. Each call includes:
A discussion led by Gurudevi, focused on the yama/niyama you have been practicing. Every Vowed Member must share their experience.
Teachings on the next yama, niyama or yogic principle with a group discussion led by Swami Samvidaananda. Each Vowed Member must report on how they plan to do this practice.
Gurudevi Nirmalananda and Swami Samvidaananda
Prerequisite: Vratin, Brahmacharin or Ashram Resident. If you have completed the Vows Prep Course, you are eligible for a Retake Discount of 40% when you register by the Confirmation Date.
Dates: Phone calls are on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 pm (Eastern Time) on these dates. These are discussion calls, thus they are not recorded.
