Unravel your deepest spinal tensions with these therapeutic poses, combining classical pose angles with repetitive movement and breath. 

Gurudevi created this methodology over 30 years ago, incorporating some of it into Advanced Teacher Training poses. She named it YogaBody, as it is a way of doing deep bodywork with yoga poses.

During the pandemic, Gurudevi created Teaching Online Therapeutics (TOT) with some of these poses. The online TOT trainings featured YogaBody poses that would work for Svaroopa® yoga teachers teaching online. The poses were powerfully effective at giving students yogic improvements, including both physical changes as well as the deeper inner experiences of Consciousness.

Gurudevi has been inspired by continuing reports of how TOT is still benefiting students as well as teachers. She is now expanding the YogaBody curriculum in this new training, which encompasses 12 Online classes over 7 weeks, with a Training Retreat in the middle. It’s amazing how these seemingly-simple movements dissolve lifetimes of tension! Gurudevi says,

YTT & DTS 2

SATYA member currently teaching 2 classes per week or more (Online or On-Site)

A Facebook or Instagram page dedicated to your business with current posts.

Preparation

For the 2 weeks (or more) prior to the Online training beginning, practice Ujjayi Pranayama for 20 minutes, twice daily (or at least once daily) . In your classes during those 2 weeks, lengthen the Ujjayi Pranayama you teach at the beginning of class from 5 minutes to 10 minutes.

SATYA Members

Successful completion of this course will maintain or reinstate your Current Standing status for Continuing Education.

ONLINE MEETINGS: 

Your online connection link will be emailed to you after you enroll. It comes the day before or the day of the program.

Video and audio participation are both required, as the class is interactive. We need to be able to see your questions budding up or the bliss shining across your face.

Housing and Meals: $1,050.00

NOTE:  if enrollment exceeds our housing capacity, yogis who register early will be housed and fed at Lokananda, our dedicated retreat facility. 

Yogis who register late will still enjoy Ashram meals, but need to provide their own housing and transportation. We recommend the nearby Home2Suites, where you get a significant discount with the Housing Link you get upon enrollment.

Materials Fee: $27.00

Early Totals (on or before May 15 2026): Members*: $3,258.00

Standard Totals: $3,718.00
