Embodied Infinity

by Gurudevi Nirmalananda

Use these ethereal solos to become more grounded in your body and life, while you expand inward to the infinite dimensions of your essence.

Experience the bliss of knowing your own Divinity while you delight in your own embodied form.

This is the non-dual duality, easily found while chanting or doing your yoga practice.  You are using breath and body to discover your infinite essence and anchor you in the multidimensionality of your own Self.

Track 1: Introductory Mantras (1:35)

Gurudevi begins by invoking the blessings of Ganesha, the one who opens the doorway within, with the traditional introductory mantras. Then she honors Shiva and her own Guru in these Sanskrit verses.

Track 2: Maha Mrtyunjaya Mantra (19:41)

This is the Fear-Dispelling Mantra.  Nirmalananda’s haunting solo captures the love that unites these two forms of the formless.  Enjoy the gift of fearlessness by chanting this mantra that is so important for our modern age.

Om tryambakam yajaamahe. Sugandhim pushti-vardhanam

Urvaaruka-miva bandhanaan. Mrtyor mooksheeya maamritaat

Om – I sing your praise, Shiva, the three-eyed lord. You are the

captivating One who is the basis of the world

I’m overwhelmed by my own limitations, worldliness and pain.  Make me free

from death and fear; grant me the nectar of the knowing of my own immortal essence.

Track 3: OM Gangayai Namah (16:39)

Evoking the fluid grace of Ganga, the holy Ganges River, this mantra was given to Swami Nirmalananda by a tantric teacher in India.

It gives the blessings of a holy dip in the watery flow that is the embodied form of the Milky Way, brought to earth by the prayers and austerities of the ancient King Bhagiratha.

As you see depicted on the album cover, Ganga landed on Shiva’s matted locks and flows through his hair to the earth, where she masquerades as mere water.

Gurudevi's original melody and solo chant gives you the experience of both Ganga’s celestial form as well as her ever-flowing majesty here on Earth.

Track 4: Low-Slow Shivo’ham (8:50)

This powerful chant draws you into the deepest dimension of your innermost being.  Its pulsation echoes the timeless throb of infinite reality, like your own heartbeat manifesting your individuality.

Follow the throb to its source within you – but not when you are driving!

Use this chant to prepare you for a sweet, deep mediation on svaroopa, your own divine essence.
